Operation Providing Hope is committed to delivering swift and effective disaster relief
by mobilizing skilled veterans and first responders to rescue individuals, distribute critical supplies,
and help stabilize communities impacted by natural disasters.
We exist to serve where others can’t or won’t, stepping into chaos with compassion, courage, and competence.
SEARCH & Rescue operations
Search & Rescue Operations involve locating, recovering
and providing life saving medical care to individuals in danger using
specialized skills, equipment,
and teamwork from our
medically certified volunteers.
RESOURCE DISTRIBUTION
When resources are limited
in local areas,
provide basic necessities,
such as food, water,
personal hygiene items,
blankets, generators, fuels
and medical support through collaborative efforts
with key partners and donors.
SHORT TERM COMMUNITY STABILIZATION
Assist with the restoration
of basic functionality, safety,
and access to essential resources in affected areas.
Including clearing debris,
creating temporary services,
and reconnecting families
with loved ones and resources.

Founded in North Carolina, following Hurricane Helene's devastating destruction in Western NC,
Operation Providing Hope is a volunteer-led non-profit organization comprised of dedicated first responders
who share a common mission: to provide timely rescue, recovery, and community stabilization following disasters.
From hurricanes to floods, wildfires to other emergencies,
we strive to be on the frontlines when communities need us most, ensuring lives are saved and hope is restored
in the face of adversity.
Our team includes experienced veterans, first responders, medical professionals, and disaster response experts bringing critical skills to the communities we serve. Each member of Operation Providing Hope is committed to stepping into challenging and often dangerous situations
to deliver emergency relief.
